Now technically if you were to actually hear sweet Sophie utter these words, it would be long and drawn out...especially the "more" part. It would sound something like mmm-ooooooo-re koko. She says it slowly and deliberately as if to make herself clearly understood. Interpreted, "mmm-ooooooo-re koko" means "more chocolate". She's a girl who definitely knows what she likes (and doesn't like). It didn't take us long after meeting Sophie to realize her complete adoration of chocolate. Every night we were at The White Swan Hotel in Guangzhou, the housekeepers would put two pieces of chocolate in a little candy dish on the nightstand. Sophie very quickly learned to expect this. As we entered our hotel room each night, we would put Sophie down and watch to see if she would remember. Without fail, she would immediately walk to the nightstand and ever so daintily lift the lid to the little jar. She would take out both pieces of chocolate and bring them to me. That's my girl! Daddy would pretend to be sad and once in a while we would decide to share with him ;)
Her love affair with chocolate continues...even to the point of tackling a brother if necessary. Just ask Michael. He casually took a Butterfinger out of his backpack one afternoon after school. He started to unwrap it as he left the kitchen and headed for the hallway. Sophie apparently knew exactly what he had and took off a-runnin'. She completely jumped her unsuspecting brother from behind all the while saying "mmm-ooooooo-re koko". We still giggle when we remember her taking out her big brother. Like I said, a girl who knows what she likes :)

How precious!! Mya, too, wanted that chocolate on the nightstand. She quickly learned that "no" meant she wasn't going to get it..Ok, we shared "bites" - but a little sugar goes a long way with our girl!!!!
