...that didn't arrive in time for the competition last Saturday is now here. It meant some seriously scrambling. Serious scrambling, people. And a whole lot of (now) laughable events. Everywhere we went and everything we did that day just didn't go as planned. Just ask Jessie. For instance, when was the last time you went to the beauty supply store only to find a sign on the door saying they were closed because the store was on fire? Excuse me. What about the urgent need for fake eyelashes and press on nails? C'mon people. And don't even ask about the airbrush tan that Jessie got at, ahem, the county fair ;) Not kidding. Not one bit. Right next to the goats and sheep. It was free. Free. And one awesome tan I might say.
We were completely 100% frazzled by the time we finally made it to the competition by five. Not to mention it was the first competition ever with her brand new dance partner. Best part of all, they took 1st place in all of their standard dances (waltz, tango, and quickstep)! For sure, we'll be better prepared next time. Won't we, Jessie? :)

It's a really pretty dress, but the description of your day made me LOL...sorry, I know it was awful, but for those of us that didn't live it, it sounded really funny. :)
It must be so much fun to wear such amazing dresses! Add the tan, nails and eyelashes and it's the ultimate dress-up! How great that they did so well!
