Tonight, a treasure chest was left on our door step inviting the "Fair Maiden Jessie" to prom. Inside the chest were instructions that "upon immediate discovery of the chest we were to meet straight-away" at a local ice cream shop. Jessie had just gotten home from work and before I could stop her, had put her hair in a pony and had begun taking off her makeup. The doorbell rang and "straight-away" we went. Jessie was beside herself trying to figure out who this could possibly be. When we arrived at the ice cream shop, Casey, Captain Jack style, was sitting alone at a corner table with his feet propped up. The place was packed with people and the whole scene drew a lot of attention. Casey's family was hidden behind a vending machine video taping as the whole thing went down. Jessie couldn't stop laughing. She was just so SURPRISED and so HAPPY. On the way home she said, "ahhh, I'm just so lucky" :) Ahoy, matey!
